BRHischier is a writer/artist living in Chicago. He writes fiction, non-fiction, draws cartoons, shoots photos, and paints strange pictures in oils. In addition to his physical art, BRHischier hosts The Silent K with Jeremy Pautz every other week at Transistor Chicago, 5045 N. Clark St. (visit the Transistor website to hear the most recent show). He also performs improv comedy in Chicago as part of the two man group “The Illiterates” and moonlights as an instructor in Digital Photography, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Lightroom, and a number of other programs. He recently began to sell his photography at Transistor Chicago. He writing on art has been by published Hyperion: A Journal of Aesthetics and Philosophy as well as by numerous art galleries in Chicago and New York. He is presently working on a second novel, a collection of 20 short stories called Bills & Smokes & A Place Called Home, and a large work-in-progress on 21st century aesthetics and the philosophy of art.
