It appears that Mr. Hischier has rediscovered his sense of humor. Human readers of the Readable By Machines blog had been accustomed to long writings about aesthetics, philosophy and other “ideas” during the early months of the website. Then, without warning, Hischier switched gears. Nay, Hischier switched cars. And then he switched to the other side of the road, even though he’s driving in the same country. The man has not written a serious word since January. Whether or not this was a marketing move or an actual flip in writing focus, we can’t tell. Nor can we understand what the hell he’s writing about half the time. But at least it’s entertaining. Right? Check it out. Readable By Machines.

Like poison? Like old French movies? The Critic Richard Thrill has written a triple-sized reviewlet about Abel Gance’s Lucrece Borgia over at Reviewlets.com. When Thrill writes long, it’s Featured Article time! Unfortunately, the movie’s out-of-print and unavailable, just like Thrill. You should find it entertaining nonetheless.
